Embracing unconditional, selfless love as the cornerstone of our mission and interactions.

Our Why

Diana Diec is the founder of Acts of Revival. This organization was birthed, simply due to obedience and dedication to God, after her life was radically transformed from pain to freedom and purpose.

Diana had a history of PTSD, depression, and suicide attempts. When she was admitted to a psychiatric hospital, she encountered Jesus face-to-face and was healed. The Lord met her at her darkest moment, and the PTSD, depression, and suicidal thoughts... left her! When she left that hospital in 2018, she was never the same. She left with hope, joy, peace, and transformation that was unexplainable.

Diana then continued on her healing journey, with faith. The Word of God and her relationship with Jesus radically healed her, and she has a passion to share this gift with others.

She was finishing her doctorate program (physical therapy) in 2020, when she prayed and surrendered her career to the Lord, asking "Where do you want me?". Again, she had a radical encounter with God. As she lay face down on the floor, weeping, an audible voice of the Lord said "I want you working with cancer patients, to share that there is hope and a future, that this is not over yet."

That encounter completely changed her life, and she went all in with the call. Since then, opportunities kept opening up to serve the cancer survivors population, and even leaders of our local community, who are hungry for God.

Diana has a physical therapy practice that focuses on oncology and lymphatics. From her practice, she noticed there was a community of cancer survivors (and other patients) who were looking for resources that provided faith-based community and support. To fill this need, Acts of Revival was created.

ACTS' Values

1. A: Agape Love

Agape love is an unconditional, selfless, and sacrificial love that seeks the best for others without expecting anything in return. It's the highest form of love. This love is the foundation for all interactions and support, demonstrating the nature of Christ's love for humanity.

Scripture:

  • 1 John 4:7-8 (NIV): "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

  • John 15:13 (NIV): "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

2. Community

Community involves building a supportive and caring environment where individuals can grow in faith and support one another. Building and nurturing a community reflects the early church’s commitment to living out their faith together. With an emphasis on building community for those affected with cancer, our purpose is to share the message of truth and hope.

Scripture:

  • Acts 2:44-47 (NIV): "All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people."

  • Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV): "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

3. Transformation

Transformation refers to the process of spiritual and personal growth, where individuals are renewed and changed by their relationship with Christ. Transformation is about becoming more like Christ and living out His will in everyday life. We also value and strive for transformation of our physical health, as we are temples of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture:

  • Romans 12:2 (NIV): "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV): "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

4. Sanctuary

Sanctuary is a place of refuge, safety, and spiritual nourishment where individuals can find peace and healing. Providing a sanctuary means creating a safe space where people can experience God’s peace and healing amidst life’s challenges. We strive to create space for God to dwell and move.

Scripture:

  • Psalm 46:1 (NIV): "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

  • Matthew 11:28 (NIV): "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Each of these values is deeply rooted in Scripture and reflects the mission of fostering healing, community, and spiritual growth centered on Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, visible and invisible.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy worldwide and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
